Welcome, everyone! This is the home of the blog that I’ll be keeping over the next year to keep prospective Jumbos up to date on what goes on in the life of a Tufts student. I think it’s only logical that I start by telling you a little bit about myself.
I’m Matt, a rising senior in mechanical engineering with a minor in art history. At Tufts, I’ve been largely focusing on relating sustainability and environmental issues with my love of engineering and science. I lead the engineering facet of the Tufts University and Boston Architectural College entry in the 2009 Solar Decathlon, a Dept. of Energy sponsored competition to design and construct a house powered entirely by the sun. Shameless plug. Don’t worry, you’ll hear plenty from me about the Solar Decathlon as the competition in October quickly approaches. Also, I’m a member of the Tufts chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) as well as a member of Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honors society.
Outside of Tufts, I enjoy live music, trying to cook, and exploring Boston. You’ll hear a bit from all parts of my life over the course of the year and I’m completely open to what you want to hear more/less about, so keep the comments coming!
Hi! I am from India. I am interested to study Chemical Engineering in Tufts University. I need to know details about the financial aid / scholarships available. Could you please help me finding out a few names of students studying or just passed out in Chemical Engineering Department?
Thanks in advance.

The officers section on the left lists a bunch of students and their majors, so you can find a ChemE there. But if you’re only looking for information on financial aid, you’re better off e-mailing the admissions office at admissions.inquiry@ase.tufts.edu
